A Digital Master Pass is Shadowtrack's digital replacement for paper inmate movement passes. Every movement inside the facility is authorized, tracked, and time-stamped in the system, giving administrators a live picture of who is moving where and why.
How does Shadowtrack manage housing and bed assignments?
The housing module shows every pod, cell, and bed in one grid with live occupancy. Staff can assign, move, and hold beds with the full classification record in view, and the platform automatically flags conflicts, such as keep-separate orders, victim relationships, or classification mismatches, before an assignment is made. Every change is logged automatically.
Can Shadowtrack track inmate transports?
Yes. Active transports appear on a live map with vehicle position, ETA, and the identities of everyone on board. Escalating check-ins keep officers accountable during transports and off-site medical stays.
How does Shadowtrack improve officer accountability?
The Correctional Officer App covers officers wherever the job takes them, inside the facility and beyond it, including transports and overnight medical stays. Escalating check-ins are required during higher-risk activities, and if a check-in is missed, supervisors are alerted immediately instead of finding out after the fact.
